1987年，施耐德集团在中国的第一个合资公司——天津梅兰日兰有限公司正式营业
1992年，施耐德集团全额收购法国梅兰日兰公司，并于次年调整在天津梅兰日兰有限公司中所持股份，以50.1% 实现绝对控股。
1995年，施耐德集团将原设香港的东北亚总部迁至北京，提升中国在亚洲市场的战略地位。施耐德电气（中国）投资有限公司（SECI）成立，在中国的第一轮大规模投资开始，同年成立了上海施耐德工业控制有限公司（SSIC）上海施耐德配电电器有限公司（SSPA），上海施耐德低压终端电器有限公司（SSLVTA），施耐德（广州）母线有限公司（SBG）。

Luli 项目—凝聚爱心，播种希望
Luli 项目[10]  是施耐德电气总部基金会发起的，在施耐德全球推行的员工公益项目，旨在 在全体施耐德员工中推行施耐德企业社会责任文化和理念，并通过员工参与，改善贫困孩子的健康及教育状况。Luli项目至今已走过11年，资助建立了9所希望小学，多次向孤儿院、特殊教育学校及儿童公益机构捐款，并开展了贫困儿童医疗救助等项目，为无数儿童及家庭带来了希望。
碧波计划—绿色能效，点亮人生

紧急救助—救援行动，大爱无疆
施耐德电气[1]  中国通过紧急救助计划，向遭受重大自然灾害的地区进行灾后重建资助。2008 年，中国湖南和四川地区先后遭受雪灾地震等自然灾害的袭击，施耐德电气先后向受灾地区捐赠物资总价值近900 万人民币，并积极投身灾后重建工程。2010 年，甘肃省舟曲县遭受重大泥石流灾害，施耐德电气向舟曲县全部104 所学校捐赠价值超过千万人民币的图书和电脑帮助其建立图书馆及电脑教室，并于2011 及2012 连续两年组织志愿者舟曲走访慰问活动。
