REM615 Motor Protection Measurement and Control DeviceREM615 motor protection measurement and control device, as a special motor protection device, is specially used for protection, control, measurement and monitoring of asynchronous motors in the manufacturing and processing industries. Typically, REM615 is used in combination with circuit breaker or contactor controlled high voltage motors, and contactor controlled large and medium low voltage motors in drive applications. The REM615 is available in four standard configurations, including all basic motor protection functions, voltage protection functions and power and energy measurement. It also greatly facilitates local or remote start/stop control of the motor.

The REM615 motor protection monitoring and control device is characterized by supporting the IEC61850 communication standard for substations, the Parallel Redundancy Protocol (PRP) and the High Availability Seamless Redundancy Protocol (HSR). The IEC61850 communication standard includes IEC 61850-9-2 LE. The unit also supports DNP3, IEC 60870-5-103 and Modbus® profiles. The device supports the Profitbus DPV1 protocol by using the SPA-ZC 302 protocol adapter.
